The “Acorns” room (Nursery) at Ashe Developmental Day School is a warm, nurturing environment designed to support infants in “putting down strong roots” during the critical first year of life. Building secure relationships is the number one priority of caregivers, while enriching each child’s physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development through responsive care, sensory play, tummy time, music, and early language experiences. The room is thoughtfully arranged with safe, age-appropriate materials to encourage exploration, comfort, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
